The Jersey ‘Round Island Walk ‘ is a 48 mile circuit of Jersey's beautiful coastline with a tremendous contrast in scenery for such a compact area. Along the north coast the heather covered cliff path gives access to spectacular scenery with fantastic views of the other Channel Islands, to the south sloping sandy bays and harbours surround the capital St Helier. From rockier marine environment on the island’s east coast the Cherbourg peninsula of the French coast is visible just 18 miles across the Channel, whilst on the west coast the blue waters and wide sands of St. Ouens Bay roll out before you
 
Highlights of the walk include stops at Pontac, the small fishing port of La Rocque, Mont Orgeuil Castle, St Catherine’s breakwater, Rozel Bay, views of the French coast and the other Channel islands at Sorel Point, ruins of Grosnez Castle, Les Mielles de Morville- Jersey’s little  ‘National Park’, Corbière Lighthouse, Les Creux Country Park, the enticing little bays of  Beauport and Portelet, and picturesque harbour at St Aubin and Elizabeth Castle (islet at sea)

Wales Coast Path
