Independent Walking Tour 2004 Season

7 nights - 6 walking days - in Half – Board, with route notes and luggage transfer

in **Hotels and Gasthauser : double room

Tirol is the ideal land for walking and hiking, with lush green scenery, rocky summits and typical villages with their painted wooden houses. Tyrol comprises several different regions but all with an alpine character -  the area we recommend and have chosen for this tour  is  the region of Kaisergebirge with its imposing rocky massif (2000 m), itself formed by the two  summits of Wilder Kaiser and Zahmer Kaiser.  Soft valleys and flowing rivers cover the foothills of this massif. This walk will take you into little mountains and green hills and pretty traditional villages, luxuriant flowers, romantic alpine lakes overhung by the famous Kaisergebirge, which will always be in view.  It is on easy paths, at an average height.  You will experience the haunting beauty of the moutains in the day and the local culture in the villages in the evening.  This walk will suit anyone who wants to combine landscapes and view of the high mountains without actually having to climb them, with very comfortable accommodations at night.
